Marble statue of Augustus "Prima Porta". Statue of Octavius Augustus which was found to the north of Sarapeion. The emperor is depicted semi-naked, as a heroized ruler. The statue follows a bronze original, as does the famous Augustus found at Prima Porta near Rome. End of 1st century B.C.
